Structural diversity and properties of four coordination polymers based on a heterofunctional ligand containing both triazole and carboxyl groups

摘要
A heterofunctional ligand containing both triazole and carboxyl groups namely 5-((4-(4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl) phenoxy)methyl) isophthalic acid (H2L) was designed. Four CPs based on H2L have been assembled. Structural analysis indicates that [(CuL)3].CH3OH (1) displays a three-dimensional (3D) structure with the (3,6)-connected (42.6)2(44.62.86.103) topology. [Cu(HL)2] (2) shows a (2, 4)-connected 3-fold interpenetrating grids with (82) (8.8.8.8) topology. [Zn(L)] (3) and [Cd2(L)2(H2O)0.2].H2O (4) possesses 3D frameworks with 4, 4-connected (4.73.82)2 topology and 3, 4, 7-connected (43)(44.62)(3.46.52.67.74.8) topology, respectively. The reasons for structural diversity are analyzed in detail. In addition, the magnetic properties of 1, 2 and the fluorescence of 3 have been investigated.
