Luminescence and magnetic properties of mononuclear Ln(<sc>iii</sc>) complexes using an N1-substituted 1,2,3-triazole ligand

摘要
Three lanthanide complexes [LnL(2)(NO3)(3)]<middle dot>2CH(3)CN (Ln = Dy (1), Tb (2), Eu (3), L = 2,2 '-(1H-1,2,3-triazole-1,4-diyl)dipyridine) have been synthesized using an uncommon luminescent N1-substituted 1,2,3-triazole as a ligand. Compounds 1-3 demonstrate characteristic transitions corresponding to lanthanide ion emissions, all showing stronger fluorescence intensity. Furthermore, compound 1 containing anisotropic Dy(III) ions exhibits slow relaxation of magnetization at low temperature, indicating that this compound is a luminescent single-molecule magnet.
