摘要：
The usufruct of consumable goods or quasi-usufruct is a legal figure that causes bewilderment in the doctrine and its practical usefulness is, however, indisputable. After studying the origin of the figure and the term "quasi-usufruct", the paper focuses on its object and its controversial legal nature (as a "ius in re aliena" or not) raising the convenience of updating the codified regulation including also the regulation of the usufruct of money.
