摘要
PurposeThis paper investigates the evolutionary trajectory of the traditional Business-to-Business (B2B) market across various states and the changing proportion of intermediary network transformation. It offers insights and decision support for the advancement of B2B e-commerce, facilitates enterprise transformation, realization of optimal supply chain management, and the creation of novel service models and business paradigms.MethodsBy transforming traditional intermediaries into online counterparts and employing optimal decision-making techniques alongside simulation, this study delves into enhancing transaction efficiency in B2B e-commerce through supply chain management technology.ConclusionThe selection patterns of traditional intermediaries regarding B2B e-commerce platforms exhibit diverse evolutionary trajectories under different external circumstances. Increased interconnectedness among traditional intermediaries augments their capacity to influence one another toward opting for online B2B platforms for sales, indicating that collaborative efforts among intermediaries can directly impact their strategic decisions.Practical implicationsCollaborative endeavors between network intermediaries and B2B platforms reshape the transactional dynamics between buyers and suppliers. The advent of platform network intermediaries enables enterprises to access bespoke customization services, data analytics solutions, and supply chain financial services. Thus, embracing the platformization of transactional structures within the supply chain offers discernible service value for both buyers and suppliers.
