This is how we love: erotic-amorous experiences of men with visual impairment, is a research-creation project from alternative communication that began with a phenomenological research where in-depth interviews were conducted with men with blindness and culminated with a fictional podcast series. The main findings of the research conclude that men with blindness have lived their erotic-amorous experiences in a different way compared to normal-visual people, who have little awareness of disability and who find it difficult to relate lovingly with a person with blindness. The results are narrated in the podcast series consisting of five chapters where various topics of the erotic-amorous experiences of the study population are addressed: autoeroticism, courtship, first time, love relationships and breakup. It is concluded that research-creation from alternative communication is a way to activate the expression of the other in the face of hegemonic normality.
