摘要
This work focuses on the design of a miniaturized, flexible, and implantable receiving device of a wireless power transfer system for battery-free optogenetic treatment of obstructive sleep apnea on laboratory mice. Starting from a conformal power transmission system, providing a uniform and quasi-omnidirectional power distribution inside the experimental cage, this study optimizes the implanted receiving system to harvest a minimum dc power of 30 mW, for any position and orientation of the mouse within the cage. This goal has the aim of guaranteeing the continuous operation of the implanted wirelessly-controlled device for optogenetic stimulation with minimized RF power generated by the voltage source and entering the system, with respect to the state-of-the-art.
