摘要
Headlines about fraudulent activities in the wine industry are increasingly common in today's newspapers. A case in point involves wineries in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, which sell their wine to wineries in other regions or countries. These wineries then bottle the wine under their own label and assign it an incorrect designation of origin, leading to deception. To combat this, an overseer role has been established to inspect and monitor the winemaking processes for traceability. However, this measure seems insufficient in preventing fraud. On the other hand, blockchain technologies have already been implemented in supply-chain processes across various industries, including the journey of wine from vineyards to bottling.
