摘要
Throughout history, human beings have expressed basic needs, such as social interaction and continuous learning in order to adapt to a changing environment. The irruption of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) has satisfied these demands, creating a total dependence, thus characterising our society as the "technological era". This study provides a detailed view of the relationship between teachers and ICT, highlighting the importance of adapting to the technological demands of today's education, investigating the attitudes, training, knowledge and use of ICT by teachers in a wide range of schools in the province of Ja & eacute;n. Aspects such as the benefits, challenges and models of ICT are analysed. The methodology employed is quantitative, using a questionnaire as the evaluation instrument. The sample comprises 884 teachers from Pre-school [n=217 (24.55%)] and Primary Education [n=667 (75.45%)]. The results reveal teachers' limited knowledge of digital resources. Finally, we conclude, among others, the need for ICT training and the resistance of older teachers to the use of ICT.
