摘要
This research explores a lesser-known aspect of World War I by examining Ottoman propaganda, particularly jihad pamphlets, aimed at mobilizing Muslims against the British Empire and its Allies. Using historical records and primary sources, the study reveals the Ottoman Empire's involvement in a broader 'revolution program' with Germany and highlights parallels between Allied and Ottoman propaganda. The analysis offers new insights into the strategies and content of these materials, shedding light on how wartime propaganda shaped perceptions and influenced Muslim communities under Allied rule or influence during World War I.
