摘要
This article aims to explore Indigenous Literature based on the project entitled Spell of Indigenous Literature and Art, which took place at the Jorge Iaparra State Indigenous School, at Uaca Indigenous Land, in Oiapoque. The project, designed and carried out by indigenous teachers and researchers, sought not just to transmit academic content, but to think about knowledge that transcends the physical limits of the classroom. In this article, as well as presenting the practical nature of the project, we try to bring up theoretical concepts that are relevant to indigenous literature. By associating theory with practice, indigenous literature becomes more than a topic of study, it becomes a living source of knowledge that resonates with the daily experiences of the students, the school and the community. Our research thus seeks to contribute to the formation of aware and culturally sensitive citizens.
