摘要
This study presents 10-Gbit/s data transmission based on 120 GHz band high-speed close-proximity communication technology by using a dielectric sheet as the transmission medium. A pyramid-shaped aperture is implemented to achieve low-loss dielectric sheet-to-waveguide transition by guiding the evanescent waves propagating along the dielectric sheet into the waveguide, which reduces the insertion loss of the transition to 1.6 dB. 10-Gbit/s data transmission is achieved by placing another dielectric sheet or split ring resonator (SRR) integrated waveguide probe in contact with the dielectric sheet through which the 120 GHz band signal propagates.
