摘要
In this paper we describe how we adopted the Essence standard to create a description of the Attribute-Driven Design (ADD) method. We first briefly discuss Essence and the benefits that it brings, and then discuss how we applied this standard to ADD. We discuss the forms in which ADD was realized and benefits that this formal representation brings. Finally, we provide a number of observations about how Essence-based descriptions can be used in industry and academia and we reflect on the lessons learned from such endeavors.
