摘要
In vehicle accident type analysis, when negotiating a curve, skidding, and rollover are determined to evaluate vehicle lateral stability. For front-wheel drive passenger cars (SUVs) with a high center of gravity, CarSim was used to establish a human-vehicle-road simulation model. The most unfavorable road geometric combination models for horizontal curve, grade, and superelevation, with design speed of 100 km/h was established from the "technical standard of highway engineering" (JTG B01-2014). The influence of above road models under good (0.80) and wet (0.50) asphalt pavement conditions on the lateral stability of passenger cars while negotiating steady state cornering was studied. The accuracy of the models is verified by comparing the skidding safety margin of the CarSim model and the mass point model from the standard. This study is useful for future road geometric design and transportation safety design, and further enriches and improves the theory and method of road alignment design.
