摘要
In this study, the design stages of the zero waste management system at Erciyes University were evaluated. For this reason, studies such as current situation determination, needs analysis, training/awareness-raising activities, monitoring, keeping records, and improvement activities were carried out within the framework of the plans. In addition, strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat (SWOT) analysis was carried out to activate waste management more effectively. With the activation of waste directive in Erciyes University, it has been seen that significant contributions are made in terms of waste management thanks to Green Metric evaluation and efforts to reach sustainability targets. It has been determined that the elements determined by the SWOT analysis provide improvements in the establishment of a zero waste management system.
