The E-learning mode can improve the entertainment and interactive experience for English learning. With the development of educational informatization, learners can engage in personalized English reading and understanding learning through online platforms. This article aims to propose a computer assisted English reading comprehension method based on semantic analysis and association rule mining, in order to help learners improve their English reading ability. Firstly, use semantic analysis technology to process the article. By analyzing the semantics of the article, determine the keywords in the article, and help understand the focus and theme of the article. Next, the association rule mining method is used to analyze the association relationships between words in the article and reveal the implicit information in the article. Finally, integrate the keywords and implicit information extracted from the article to assist in understanding the module tool. By analyzing and sorting out a large amount of learner data, this paper finds out the association rules between learners' behavior pattern and learning effect when using computer-assisted English reading systems. Through experiments and data analysis, the interactive E-learning model proposed in this study has achieved remarkable results in the computer English reading aid system. Learners gain a better learning experience and learning outcomes by participating in interactive activities such as discussion boards, online quizzes, etc. Through experimental verification, the computer assisted English reading comprehension system based on semantic analysis and association rule mining technology has certain practical significance in improving the quality of English reading comprehension adaptive testing. It provides learners with a convenient auxiliary tool to help them better understand English reading materials and improve their reading comprehension abilities.
