摘要
This work evaluates a new prototype of a mobile wick solar still with a passive external condenser designed and manufactured by the company IPFH2O. The system 's purpose is to distil non-potable water into potable water using solar energy. It is intended for populations in areas where access to drinking water remains difficult. The tests were conducted over four days between October and December 2021 at the University of Rennes 1 in Brittany 's sub-oceanic climate. Manual solar monitoring of the system was conducted at one-hour intervals during the test days. The collected data included temperatures of various components, relative humidity, Global sunshine, and hourly production. This data was then used to calculate the system's energy and exergy yields to evaluate its performance.
