摘要：
A large number of developing countries have critical problems associated with the management of solid wastes. This presentation discusses some of the problems, as well as trends related to the management of wastes in those countries. In addition, this presentation proposes some steps that are considered by the authors to be basic for the successful implementation of waste management programs
