摘要
In "Perceptual Entitlement?" Daniel Kalpokas raises a powerful objection to Tyler Burge's theory of perceptual entitlement. According to Kalpokas, Burge's theory cannot avoid a famous objection against reliabilism, namely: epistemic irresponsibility. In addition, Kalpokas puts forward a minimal internalism capable, in his view, of accounting for the ability of unsophisticated epistemic creatures to have justified beliefs about their environment. This article pursues two aims. Firstly, it advances an objection to Kalpokas's minimal internalism. Secondly, it puts forward an alternative minimal internalism which overcomes the problems raised by Kalpokas's minimal internalism.
