摘要
This article examines gender-specific aspects in pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) with the aim of investigating the influence of gender on physical constitution, motivation, activities and outcomes in PR. This is based on a comprehensive literature search and the clinical expertise of the authors. The results reveal differences in symptoms and physical activity levels between men and women. It becomes apparent that women often exhibit more severe symptoms but the effectiveness of PR seems to be independent of gender. These findings underscore the importance of personalized rehabilitation approaches within the context of PR.
