摘要
Due to the high price of shipbuilding steels, ordinary steels are usually used in domestic tests as an alternative for the penetration of the ship target, but the similarity of damage cannot be easily guaranteed by the adopted equivalent methods. Based on the theory of plastic dynamics, the formula for calculating the material equivalence plate thickness of the frame structure of ships is derived according to the similarity of the penetration damage in this paper. Then, the formulas for estimating the range of the plastic zone and the maximum displacement in the penetration process of targets are presented. The similarity between the targets designed through the proposed formula and the prototype target in the damage mode and warhead ballistic characteristics is verified through a numerical simulation, providing a theoretical basis for the design of material equivalent target. © 2021, Editorial Department of Journal of HEU.
