The article presents the history of the archives of the parish of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Zielonki near Krakow, and discusses in detail its accumulated resources. In 2022, the process of organizing and developing the collection was completed, resulting in this article. Publications based on documents of this provenance have so far been issued infrequently, although in recent years somewhat more frequently, so that there is a growing familiarity with the contents of the archive. The Zielonki parish was established in the 13th century, but documents relating to its earliest history can be found in the records of the Krakow Cathedral Chapter and the University of Krakow. The current archival holdings include documents from the 18th century on the parish, which consisted of villages: Zielonki, Bibice, Witkowice, Tonie, Garlica, Gorka Narodowa, Wola Zachariaszowska and part of Pekowice. Older archives were lost during World War I. The most impressive collection contains the record books, almost complete since 1797. Also preserved, and very valuable, are chronicles from 1878-1932, the book of the Brotherhood of St Anne kept since the late 18th century, a sizeable collection of visitations and inventory records, and economic documents from the 19th and 20th centuries. In total, the archive includes 389 units produced between 1709 and 2019. These documents are also valuable because of the close relationship that, until the early 20th century, linked the Zielonki parish with the University of Krakow (Jagiellonian University) and the Krakow Collegiate Church of St Anne. In addition to the aforementioned issues, the article also briefly describes the history of the Zielonki parish chancellery. An appendix accompanying the article presents the archival inventory.
