摘要
This paper presents a review on electric propulsion technology in spacecraft attitude control. Firstly, the general electric propulsion technology is introduced, and the characteristics of different types of electric thrusters suitable for attitude control are analyzed. Then, the on-orbit application status and the research status of electric thrusters in spacecraft attitude control are reviewed respectively. In the review of research status, the research results and conclusions of electric thrusters in thruster layout, control strategy and control algorithm are analyzed and summarized oriented to three tasks which including spacecraft attitude control, joint attitude and orbit control, and angular momentum unloading. Finally, corresponding development suggestions are proposed for the challenges of electric propulsion technology in the future application of spacecraft attitude control. © 2023 Journal of Propulsion Technology.
