摘要
Load rejection characteristics are an important criterion to measure security and stability of a nuclear power unit. Load rejection test is an important test item in commissioning phase of pressurized water reactor (PWR) nuclear power unit. The nuclear power units operating under different power levels show different load rejection characteristics. According to actual operation characteristics of nuclear power unit, a model of PWR nuclear power unit is established. The load rejection test of nuclear power units under different power levels is simulated. Furthermore, a bypass system and fast valve closing system are added to study the load rejection protection of PWR nuclear power unit. Simulation results show that the higher the power level is, the greater the disturbance caused by load rejection will be, and the nuclear power units at high power level must be equipped with a protection system for load rejection. Both bypass system and fast valve closing system can effectively protect nuclear power units. The former has a significant protective effect on nuclear power unit reactor and thermal system parameters, while the latter has a significant inhibiting effect on turbine speed rise. © 2020, Power System Technology Press.
