摘要
Artificial construction of 3D process model need great human effort. Aiming at this problem, an automatic generation method of 3D process model was proposed. The 3D design model of the part was preprocessed, the extended feature relation graph was employed to express it structurally, and the candidate cut-cutoff surface sequence and processing method chains were generated. The machining volume was obtained by Boolean operation of the blank model and the part model, and then the machining volume was divided into a set of machining unit volumes by mapping and segmentation operation. The machining feature mapping method was employed to realize the association between the machining unit volumes and the machining process to generate the 3D process model. The proposed method was verified by experiments with typical shaft parts. © 2022, Editorial Department of CIMS. All right reserved.
