摘要
The waveform of prebreakdown current in polymethylmethacrylate for positive polarity has been observed using a 760 ns rectangular high-voltage pulse. A linear relation to formative time lag and gap spacing is obtained for gap lengths greater than a critical value, indicating a constant propagation velocity in this region. The velocity is deduced from the relation to be 2.2 km.s-1 at 50 kV.
