摘要
The levels of endogenous GA1 and GA4 in the anthers of a standard cultivar and the corresponding male-sterile, single gene mutant of rice, Oryza sativa L. (japonica), were measured by radioimmunoassay using GA4-specific antiserum that showed highly specific immunoreactivity with GA1 and GA4. The levels of these GAs in the anthers of the male-sterile mutant were about one-fifth to one-sixth of those in the normal cultivar, suggesting a correlation between the endogenous levels of these GAs and the male sterility.
