摘要
Investigation results of zinc behavior during the process of nickel production out of highgrade matte are cited in the present article. Zinc is one of the most detrimental impurities that adversely affects the process of nickel refining since its removal from the system poses many difficulties. Zinc distribution among the process semi-products has been defined; sources of incoming zinc as well as natural ways of its removal have been found out. Aside from that, additional methods of zinc removal out of the Kola Mining & Metallurgic Company flow-sheet have been proposed.
