MANAGEMENT OF CHRONIC-BRONCHITIS

Chronic bronchitis is a frequent disease, too often neglected by patients. The term of chronic bronchitis designates in fact 2 diseases with a different prognosis : simple chronic bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The physician must diagnose it early. Management of chronic bronchitis is based both on patients' education and treatment of acute exacerbations. At the stage of COPD, one must act on the reversible part of obstruction.
