摘要
The article is a result of a field study conducted in the Historical Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece. The research aims to present selected documents about the fate of the Jewish population of Greece during World War II, available in the documentary - collection "Documents on the History of the Greek Jews: Records from the Historical Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs". The selected documents outline the efforts of the Greek society to rescue the Jews in Greece thus casting additional light on Bulgaria's policy toward the Bulgarian Jews and opening the perspective for transnational and comparative approach to the study of the history of the Balkan Jews in the course of World War II.
