摘要
In the face of advances in technology and salient changes in economy, people remain an organisation's most valuable resource. More than ever in a knowledge-based industry, the human capital and intellectual assets make a difference to the competitive advantage of the firm. Employer attractiveness (EA) is the key to entice employable top talent. EA is described as the envisioned benefits that a potential employee sees in working for a specific organisation. Relatively, little is known about which specific factors determine potential applicants' attraction to an employer. This study empirically examines the elements of EA in information technology (IT) industry from the perspective of potential employees, using multiple regression. The findings from the study proved that economic factors, application factors, development factors and global factors enhanced the attractiveness of IT employers in the Indian context.
