摘要
This scientific text is a theoretical study through time of the well-known work 'Praise of Folly' by the famous European scholar Erasmus of Rotterdam (15th century A.D.). The analysis is made through comparison by analogy with modern and postmodern theories and authors. The aim is to make a connection between the predecessors and their followers where the past and the future constantly change their places in the process of interpretation and allow the occurrence of the hermeneutic circle of the problem of 'thinking'. Thinking is being interpreted within the context of 'Praise of Folly' where folly is not the antipode of thinking but its natural continuation in the ideology of human society regardless of historical times and situations. As an ideology, folly exists in all spheres of society and thus creates the prerequisites for self-denial of the individual.
