摘要：
Microbending losses of fluoride-glass fibres are calculated using the discrete mode coupling theory, which accurately describes losses of SiO2-fibres. Calculations show microbending losses of the same order of magnitude as the intrinsic loss of fluoride-glass. © 1990.
