FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES OF ADAPTIVE LOCALLY OPTIMAL-CONTROL

Fundamental theoretical facts of adaptive control based upon recurrent identification by the method of least squares and of locally optimal control laws are presented. Results of numerical simulations are described, their agreement with the theoretical results is discussed, and the peculiarities of their behavior beyond the scope of the theory are revealed.
