摘要：

This article analyzes the evolution of working groups into strategic teams as an answer to the need for having strategic thinking permeate all levels of an organization. The team is characterized by attention to its values, its mission and the synergy resulting from shared, resounding leadership. After analyzing the different kinds of teams, conclusions propose self-directed teams as an alternative for XXI century enterprises.
