摘要
Silacyclopentadiene derivatives form charge-transfer (CT) complexes with 7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ). The strong CT bands were observed in the visible region. The formation constants were determined by means of visible absorption spectra and (1)HNMR spectra, and are significantly large. That of the Si-unsubstituted silacyclopentadiene derivative is more pronounced.
