摘要
Forty patients with seborrheic dermatitis were treated with 2% ketoconazole cream or 1% hydrocortisone cream for four weeks in a double-blind comparative study. The cream was applied once daily. At the end of the treatment, symptomatic improvement of 93.7% was observed in the patients treated with ketoconazole and 90.6% in those treated with hydrocortisone. Pityrosporum ovale yeast cultures were negative in 84.2% of the ketoconazole-treated patients and 70% of the hydrocortisone-treated patients. Both drugs were well tolerated.
