摘要
The electronic and magnetic properties of CrO2 were investigated using the self-consistent A.S.W. method in a new approach to study the evolution of its magnetic properties at decreasing volume and to assess recent photoemission results on thin films. The results show that a magnetic transition of ferro double-line arrow pointing right antiferromagnetic type is likely to be induced under pressure. Experimental results could be explained by a compression of the CrO6 octahedron within the cell.
