School violence and social marginalization: between the perspective of the subjects and the structural dimensions

摘要
The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of the research on school violence in Mexico and to analyze this phenomenon from a social interaction view and the perspective of social actors. For this, we will analyze different views about school violence from academy and the public policy. Then we will talk about a proposal to study this issue since the social interaction and actors perspective, noting the singularities of institutionalized violence in schools. Finally, from this perspective, it will be adressed the binomial marginalization- violence to highlight the role of power relations and the weight of social structures in the blast or reproduction of school violence.
