摘要
This article is one of the methodological stages of a research to get a master's degree in Information Science, which aims to develop an information policy to manage audiovisual collections in a Brazilian university and to construct a tool to collect data focusing on carrying it out. I present how a tool to collect audiovisual data was constructed and how the first data collected were structured and analyzed, by using the content analysis method and a technhique to describe moving images on a software called Evernote. As theoretical framework, I discuss some definitions on audiovisual information as well as about the audiovisual collections of a federal university in Brazil, which is the locus of this research. The content analysis is discussed as a method to analyze audiovisual materials, based on its stages to analyze the videos that were chosen to carry this study out, and also by defining categories and subcategories of the audiovisual production in the university, where a TV program was selected to construct the research tool. The TV program is named UFCTV, and I chose four programs presented in June, 2017, which are compound by 24 videotapes, completely analyzed and described on Evernote. Then, I present some functionalities of the software Evernote, as well as its advantages in constructing the research tool to analyze audiovisual content by using it as an electronic diary to collect data and to construct tables on it to fill the data in. I concluded the methodological stages can be applied to researches with other kinds of audiovisual material, and not only with TV programs, although some adequacies may be necessary to fit changes on the research tool.
