摘要：
Combinatorial chemistry is a novel way of rapidly generating a large number of related compounds. Screening of such a collection or library for biological activity may be performed in solution or on a solid support. Combinatorial peptide libraries have been most intensively investigated in the search for lead compounds, but the method is so powerful that it seems certain that it will be used increasingly to generate libraries of other types of molecule.
