摘要
Mobbing at work is a phenomenon of social and psychological nature, which leads to the development of a daily aggressive behaviour against the worker. Results from the interaction between individual factors, interpersonal, group, cultural, socio-economic and organizational, with adverse effects on the worker, the organization and society. It is a widespread problem for many economic activities, but is in the health sector, in terms of nursing, which has higher expression. Leads to poor health status, physical and mental, reflecting negatively on the quality of care and may lead to the leaving of the profession. In this work, the phenomenon is characterized in the context of nursing, and known, through a case study, the context in which occurs and how it affects the health of workers and organizations. For this purpose, it is analysed reports from six nurses. It becomes urgent to address this problem, according to prospects for prevention, detection and immediate control. For this reason, it is necessary to develop leadership skills in the areas of communication and conflict resolution. The management of organizations should be guided by healthy behaviours, preserving the quality of the working environment and the health and welfare of their workers.
