摘要
The effects of a 13-day intra-peritoneal infusion of bromocriptine (BRC) or vehicle delivered by osmotic pumps on systolic blood pressure, plasma and pituitary prolactin content, saline and water intakes were investigated in the normotensive second-generation offspring of a cross between New Zealand genetically hypertensive (GH) and normotensive (NT) rats. BRC did not have any significant effect on the SBP or the prolactin (PRL) levels in the offspring, but significantly decreased saline intake and increased water intake. These results suggest that SBP and PRL responses to BRC are both independent of saline intake.
