摘要
An experimental method for quantitative evaluation of the variation of metal crack resistance under creep conditions due to the action of periodic short-term overloads at a relatively low temperature that simulate the main temperature-power working conditions of the metal of thick-walled turbine housings is described. Taking as an example 15Kh1M1FL cast steel, it is shown that compressive overloads under creep conditions have, as a rule, a negative effect on the time to the onset of crack growth but hardly influence subsequent crack propagation. Periodical tensile overloads, on the other hand, can retard fracture.
