摘要：
The author examines the questions of the content, correlation and meanings of the provisions and norms of the Constitution of the RF and generally acknowledged principles and norms of international law, the reflection of both in the Russian criminal legislation and practice of its application, and the proper trends making this legislation and practice more perfect. The author comes to the conclusion that the main purpose of the study of the content, correlation and meanings of the provisions and norms of the RF Constitution and international law norms within the context of the tasks of the Russian criminal legislation is to work out a system of the values of life and purposefully concentrate on their protection all our legislation as a whole.
