摘要
The combination of automatic generation control (AGC) and an economic dispatch calculation (EDC) for electrical power supply systems is presented using as an example the Singapore electricity grid. Steelworks are the cause of major fluctuations leading to large deviations in frequency and high generator overloads. The purpose of network control is to optimize the distribution between the generators of the network load with a view to maximum economy, taking into account the daily load curve. Short-term fluctuations in load are compensated for by load/frequency control.
