摘要：
A new, low-cost atomic absorption method for the determination of gold in geological materials is described. The method involves extraction of gold from sample materials that are first heated with a mixture of hydrochloric acid and bleaching powder, followed by coprecipitation of gold with mercury. The mercury precipitate is dissolved in aqua regia and the gold determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry.
