French energy policy is characterized by a great continuation, guarantee of its efficiency. The standing out of new concerns (environment, single european market, liberation of east european countries) induces new priorities, without calling into question the foundamental choices: - diversification of primary energies and supply, - rational use of energy, - development of national, competitive energies.
