REGULARITIES OF SURFACE FORMATION IN BINARY POLYMER SYSTEMS

摘要
The composition of the surface of various binary systems on the base of PDMS, PC and polysulfone: block copolymers, homopolymers mixtures, mixtures of a homopolymer with a copolymer and copolymers mixtures has been studied by the X-ray photoelectronic spectroscopy method. For all the types of polymer systems the essential enrichment of the surface with the siloxane component is shown. For the given volume content of siloxane the highest degree of enrichment is observed in homopolymers mixtures, while the lowest one - in block copolymers. In mixtures of two copolymers the unusual change of the surface layer composition is observed: an addition of a copolymer with high content of siloxane to a copolymer with its low content results in the decrease of the surface concentration of siloxane. The microscopic model of the surface layer structure is proposed explaining the observed phenomena of the surface formation.
