摘要
Low aqueous content acetonitrile solutions of limonene and tetraethyl ammonium bromide were electrolysed at Pt anodes. Formation of 6-acetamido-p-menth-1,8-diene (1) proceeds with much lower yields than when the halide ion is Cl-. The main organic product is 1,2-dibromo-p-menth-8-ene (2) which is formed by homogeneous reaction. Other minor products, including the new molecule 8-acetamido-2,4,8-trimethyl-4-bromomethyl-3-aza-bicyclo |3.3.1| non-2-ene (4), were identified. © 1990.
