摘要：
Otis-urethrotomy is a fairly simple and safe procedure with low complication rate. It has good results in the treatment of female urethral stictures. It gives lasting cure after normally single surgical intervention and should be offered as a first choice of treatment with regard to its susceptibility, low distress for the patient and restoration of physiological conditions.
